It may be an extra ~15% at this stage thanks to VAT. They seem to reckon they need to charge it but I have a feeling they do not. I asked them to confirm with their accountants for me. Obviously you guys would be happier not paying it.

It should be VAT free. I buy mountain bike parts regularly from the UK and there is no VAT.
