For sale 1x WD-6050 headunit to suit all mk5 platform VAG cars (e.g. golf5, jetta, octavia, tiguan, etc etc, polo aswell, passat... anything that will take an RNS or RCD 510, RDC3XX....)
This is an aftermarket headunit that replaces OEM VAG units. Lots on info good and bad out there on the interwebs about them. Product website here: WD6050 -Waywell
This unit is as-new, second hand. Has been tested in mk6 golf (works but some bugs) and my octavia (all works quite well).
Unit has about 10 days installed in vehicle time, otherwise has been packaged in original packaging.
Has Australian maps on SD card in front of unit. GPS works great. Runs IGO8.0 software but can be upgraded to many different gps software types. Runs Windows CE5.0.
Sound quality quite good, better than my Stream Mp3 unit, probably because of more headroom in the amp. Bluetooth easy to setup and works well. GPS works well.
Comes with all parts shown in the link above. Big advantage of this unit is that it has pre-outs (OEM does not) allowing easy addition of an aftermarket amp/sub install etc.
Asking $200 ono (make an offer you might be surprised).
