hey guys,

just thought i'd give everyone a heads up on how things are going on this group buy!

after speaking with ecs tuning, they've explained to me that their postage calculator is dynamic and changes relative to exchange rates and the price of oil.

i have since been notified that there is an ecs supplier here in australia and it will be cheaper to order products directly through them.

stay tuned as i'm currently in negotiations with them regarding this group buy!

By the way, I saw on the first post you put me down as "r32 oem", just making sure that the ones I linked are not for an r32, they are for the GTI/GT style bumper, but have the fins extended similar to the r32. They were only available for the limited R-Line edition Golf's.

They are the same shape as the ones you're ordering, just different design

hey guys!

well, firstly appologies for the epic delay in getting these prices together for this gb, but after a number of emails back and forth from me, the australian supplier and ecs tuning in the us, we were able to secure a very attractive 'final price' which covers us for everything!

the following prices include the unit, international postage costs and gst.

oem open air grille kit ES#: 005992 = $105
oem r-line fog light grilles ES#: 257791 = $115

for those who are interstate, please be aware that you will need to add an additional charge of $10 for domestic postage.

for those who originally missed out, i will open the gb back up until sunday as this order will be paid and placed on this coming wednesday 21st of september.

i will pm everyone on both forums regarding this update and also payment. please reply to this pm to confirm that you are still interested and in addition, please notify me on payment with delivery address (for interstate members only, local members will organise a meeting point to distribute)

alrighty guys!

the order was placed today! aus supplier will make their monthly order tomorrow and we should expect delivery betwen 3-7 business day. me personally, from experience of getting stuff delivered from the us, i'll be expecting it to take a little longer? but who knows.

i'll have a hunt around to find a good meet/install area that is central to all? was thinking maybe port melbourne industrial area on a weekend might be good?

just heard from the australian supplier, the parts should arrive here in melbourne friday night ready for collection this saturday morning. i will get another confirmation come friday.

i was thinking maybe this sunday (09/10/11) afternoon/evening around 5/6pm meet down in port melbourne industrial area for a meet/greet/install/photo shoot?

for those of you who cant make it, just let me know and we'll organise something that suits.

i've fitted mine already just to make sure the fitment and all that is spot on, they look great, took all of 5 minutes to install and you will need a phillips head screw driver, i'll bring one down as a spare!
