  • NSW For Sale Oz Racing Ultraleggera 18x8"

FOR SALE:- SOLD Oz Racing Ultraleggera 18x8" ET 45 PCD 5x112mm, centre bore 57.01mm. Weight 8.5kilos, Satin black.

    SOLD

The wheels are 4 months old and are in excellent/as new condition. No gutter rash or scratches. There is a small paint blemish on one wheel the size of your little finger nail. It is not through to the metal. It is hard to describe what it is exactly. You need to be less then 30cm (12") away to see it.

The current new best price I have been able to find new is $615 each. I want $2000 for all four, wheels and lug bolts only, no tyres. Price is firm at the moment.

They are located in Sydney on the northern beaches. Prefer local pick up but can send interstate at buyers cost. Research as shown interstate transport is about $70.

These wheels fit dead flush with the guards on the golf "R" and they do not rub when 225/40/18, 235/40/18 or 245/35/18 tyres are fitted. Wheel clearance from strut tube is approx 15mm

You can see what they looked like in photo number 3 on the link below. White golf "R"

The photo below is of the marked wheel, the other photo is highly magnified. The other 3 wheels are in 100% perfect condition.

I am mostly on the vwgolf.net.au forum where I am a senior member so you can buy with confidence.

I've seen your thread on vwgolf mate, your price seems fine if you're only considering local competition but are you aware of international prices of these? Just putting it out there since you said $615 is the cheapest you could find - plenty of people might still prefer a local purchase.

You will find that almost all international sales of these wheels and BBS have pretty much stopped..

Ie. Tirerack no longer ship them outside North America..

BBS and OZ Racing are leading the way with stopping international purchases as it's hurting local suppliers..

So in actual fact these are priced pretty well...

Don't mean to interfere with the sale, as I've said the price is good for local competition.

APR has prohibited international sales for some time now, but ECS Tuning still has no problems with sending their parts here. It's a matter of knowing where to look, but as always the price is a trade off for time / effort / warranty / local support.

Plenty of people choosing either options and I wouldn't say either one is better than the other as it depends on the item and personal preference. All I'm pointing out is that $615 new would be the best local price, so as not to mislead. This might have been what some posters in the OPs vwgolf thread had issues with.

Its still possible to use a freight forwarder though, and it can be cheaper than Tirerack shipping them directly.
