SH73OX is dead so it's time to recoup some money to go into the next daily driver. There's a heap of stuff I can shift off so I'll be adding more stuff over time. As for pictures, I'll try and put in as much as I can and over the next few days I'll be dismantling the Mk3 and borrowing a decent camera.
Will ship anywhere depending on size. Can deliver too, or pick-up at Merrylands (near Parramatta). Negotiable with all parts of course so hit me with an offer, worst I can do is say no over a PM.
Mk3-related parts:
Rear VR6 seats. In good condition. Offers.
Mk3 rear door handles. Used but have been painted by me in black. I have three; two with fresh gaskets, one without any. Perfect for a smooth look for the front doors if you go remote central locking. $10 each.
Mk3 driver's door. Used, in white, has glass but no door card or window regulator, no dents, no scratches, no rust. $40
Mk3 window regulators. Got a front driver's and passenger's regulator with the motor. Also have a new front passenger regulator, but no motor. $50 each.
Mk3 Golf smoothed rear bumper. A work in progress, currently the bumper line is filled in. Will still require more filling work. $50.
Mk3 Hella Magic taillights (black edition). Used but in as-new condition. Very similar to VR6 taillights but the lenses are tinted instead of having black pinstripes like the VR6 ones. Looks slightly more smoked as a result. Comes with bulb holders (but you can use your existing one that's wired in already) and gasket (in good condition). Rare taillights! $170. Pending.
The below five items can be used to upgrade the brakes on a Mk2 or Mk3 CL or GL to VR6 288mm spec. Only thing that isn't included is the subframe but existing Mk2/Mk3 subframe is the same as the VR6 ones, and please note that the inner CV size is 100mm. $300 if bought together.
Mk3 VR6 front 288mm brake setup. Used pair, includes calipers and carriers, rotors and pads (Remsa pads done about 10,000km), steering knuckle, hub and ball joint (1 year old). Won't have wheel bearing problems for a long time as they were all changed. Will sell rotors and pads separately. $200.
Stock VR6 swaybar. Comes with used bushes if required and new unfitted sway bar links. $40.
New Mk3 manual steering rack. No tie rods, but they use Mk2/Mk3 4-cylinder style tie-rods, not VR6. $100.
Momo gear knob. Used for many years but still in fantastic condition. Universal fitting, doesn't use threads. $30.
Lots of interior plastic trim. Missing one? Let me know. The interior was navy blue in this car, so some of it (like the dash, door cards etc) are in navy blue. Other bits are black though (like cluster bits).
Clutch cable. Self-adjusting, comes with the attachment kit that holds it onto the gearbox arm. $20.
Wiper motor and linkage. Works fine, no wipers though. Good to do a DIY mono wiper on it. $20.
2.0L 8V MAF sensor. Came off ADY engine, should suit others. Still working perfectly when off the car, though I can't guarantee how much longer it'll last. $60.
2.0L 8V Bosch spark plugs. Came off ADY engine, should suit others. Only been on the car for a month. Runs sweet, should still have plenty of life. $50.
Front textured VR6 flares and maroon GL slim side mouldings. If you're missing any parts that have fallen off or whatever, let me know and I'll see if I have the right replacements.
020 manual gearbox. CHE code. The good - flushed out and refilled with Redline MT90 gearbox oil, Peloquin "Pelolok" 80% shim kit installed, 100mm drive flanges. The bad - sprayed painted black, crunch in second gear when shifting at high speeds (occurs less than 10% of times, but it's there). Will include a 1/4 full bottle of Redline MT90. $500.
Sachs clutch kit + Eurospec lightened flywheel. Sachs clutch kit has been used for about two years (not many km as the car spent half of that on jack stands), OEM-spec, clutch pedal feel was great (way better than the LuK one that was in it previously). Eurospec lightened flywheel is 210mm single-pin version. It's definitely lighter than the Sachs one. I'll include the Sachs flywheel as well. $250.
Banchwerks drop plates, -2.5 degrees. Never fitted (only opened the box to inspect), comes with bolts. Very solid construction, well known in dub circles. They stopped production for a while but it looks like they're available again. They're going for $225USD before shipping. I'm selling for $220.
