If Brandon89 is will to separate the exhaust up, then I'm sure we can arrange something with him. I only require the RSC catback exhaust.

MrGTIandRfan, my advice would be to call APR in Australia and ask them about this topic. There is a difference between diameter on the APR downpipe and the stock catback. So your car would currently have an adaptor on it. The question would be, does the adaptor extend into the "cat back" area or into the "mid pipe" area. I.e. it may end up being easier for you to fit the new TBE and sell your DP with adaptor. But ask APR because they'll know for sure

i had to cut about 4cm of the APR downpipe to fit the Akra catback. it says on the APR dp installation manual that certain aftermarket catbacks require some custom cutting to shorten the downpipe before it can be fitted correctly. Not sure if this applies to stock cat back.

Yeah... I'm not sure either. Hence why I suggested that it may be easier to just fit the TBE to MrGTIandRfan's car, take off the DP and adaptor, and send that to azn_007.

              I was thinking this exactly.

The installer for the APR downpipe made it a point to not modify the downpipe at all and that any length reduction would be done on the catback exhaust.

Thus it would be easier for me to sell the downpipe as it is basically as new.

HI guys, yes APR produce 2 different setups for the mk6. 1 is the full turbo back and one is the cat back. The cat back only is different to the catback on the full exhaust. I made the mistake when i Installed the down pipe only and realised I needed the extra gains of the cat back and the RSC sound. ANd went to order the catback section from my dealer. they didn't have stock for ages so they gladly swapped my down pipe for a full exhaust. hope this makes sense

MrGTIandRfan, I received a quote to adelaide via startrack and its $100

I bought the APR Carbonio intake from Brandon and he is excellent to deal with.

Item was in impeccable condition and postage was fast and secure.

Thanks again mate, i'm loving the new addition to the Octavia!

                        Josh.

If anyone purchased the turbo kit I'm assuming they're still going to have to shell out for software from APR?
