Just wondering if I could use this cluster in my 99 Golf GLE Mk4 or whether there would be issues with the computer?

I read on VW Watercooled US site that golfs up to 1999.5 do not have the immobiliser installed and hence do not need the Security Key Code to make them work. AS mine is a very early 1999 model and it doesnt have the immobiliser ( as far as I am aware) I suppose it should work.
What would postage cost down to NSW Central Coast?
Any help is appreciated.
