Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Dension Gateway 100 iPod adapter

    Hi all

    I have my Dension Gateway 100 iPod adapter for sale

    It supports iPods as well as a 3.5mm line in feature. It will charge the iPod as well as allow you to control from it. The kicker is the MFD interface.



    Your MFD becomes the iPod screen which can be controlled via the steering wheel. At lot less time is spent with your eyes off the road plus the track info is very detailed, including the amount of litres left in the tank

    Install is very easy. It works with 2nd and 3rd generation headunits.

    If yours is the GW16VC1, then that model only works with the RCDx00 headunits, not the RCDx10 units (not sure what generation 2 & 3 mean)

      I'm not sure on the part number but it works on both headunits as I have used it on both.

      2nd and 3rd generation is RCDx00 and RCDx10 headunits respectively. Your method was a bit more concise
