Hi all,
As many would know I sold my GT TDI and was planning on buying a Polo 77TSI. After a lot of consideration and comparing I have strayed from the VW brand and have gone into a new Ford Focus Zetec. To cut a long story short I was planning on using the Viezu V - Switch on the Focus but unfortunately it would appear that it too has been fitted with an antitune ECU (as the new Polo 77TSI also had) so I can't remap it. I have therefore decided to sell the unit and will perhaps look at other tuning options when they become available. I had a look under the dash for the ECU in the Focus and it's locked away very neatly and is fitted with tamper resistant plastic locking tabs and obviously I would consider that if you break them you will void your warranty
Needless to say it won't be happening so the V - Switch is now for sale. The package comes complete with the V - Switch unit, installation software CD and cables. One new map (which was all I ever used on the GT) will cost around $180 directly from Viezu UK. You can visit the website for details on makes and models it will work with as well as the expected power gains available - Performance Improvement Calculator - Car Tuning, Performance Engine Tuning, ECU Remapping / ECU Remaps
$320 including Registered Post.
