Magnetic sump plugs M14x1.5

This is the VW OEM plug fitted with rare earth magnet (not cheap). I can send it anywhere in OZ for $28 with 2 extra Cu washers. The length of the magnet is 32mm from the end of the drain plug. I can make it shorter, if required. The magnet dia. is 8mm.



The magnets I selected are strongest, the longest magnets that could be fitted to the sump plug and I went for performance rather than price.

I have plenty in stock and can supply for different car makes as well.

What are the benefits ?

Less oxidation as the ferrous debris are picked up by magnet and removed from the engine (you have to clean the magnet before re-installing the sump plug), the useful life of the oil filter is extended. Other advantage is that you can inspect the debris when you change the engine oil

Will this fit in all makes? I have an MK5 GT Sport.

Most and it will fit MK5 GT. I can also supply magnetic sump plug to almost any make.
