  • BUSINESS Eurojet mk5 and mk6 Golf GTI Downpipe pre-orders & Price reduction!

After a bit of a wait I have had word that the Eurojet 3" V banded DPs will be back in stock very soon. Hopefully production will be complete by the end of this week and we will see stock in the next 2 weeks.

I have opened the product up on the website for people wanting to create a pre-order as there will only be 10 available in this shipment. First in best dressed! This is an amazing quality product at an extremely competitive price.

Price starts from $699 inc GST for the non resonated unit. All downpipes will include cat.

Follow the link to place your order and it will be shipped out once they land.

We also have 1 BSH front mount intercooler kit to suit mk5 GTI left in stock and it needs to go. Special 1 time only price of $699!

        A couple small updates.
BSH fmic is sold! If anyone wants one now they will be ordered on demand with a lead time of a couple of weeks usually. Price will return to standard $899

I have just been informed that Eurojet unlike previous shipments are no longer building the downpipe with the option to include a resonator. Ive updated the website and post above to reflect this. Apologies to anyone who had their heart set on a resonated version. Its really not a necessary option anyways as they dont sound offensive without.

That said there are only 2 downpipes in the coming shipment that arent already spoken for! Thanks for the support guys. Get in quick as I dont know when the following shipment will be available.

Appologies to the OP for using them as an example but heres a link that shows the updated design and their impressions.

If you look around you look around you will also probably notice that not many other manufacturers include a resonator in their DP design either.

Just to bump this up again.
There was a slight delay in the production of our order from eurojet but it has finally hit the skies and will be in our warehouse next week. There are still 2 available from this allocation so make sure you get in quick before they sell out again to avoid any future delay.

The shipment has finally landed so back orders will be shipping out later today.

Just to clarify the new design of the dp. The main difference is the cat has been moved back a little bit which apparently allows the exhaust gasses to straighten out nicely before entering. There is also no resonator option anymore although it was mainly dropped as it wasnt necessary.

Got my down pipe with cat on Thursday from Tim (installed it today) and i must say i am very impressed with the quality and finish of the product. I strongly recommend considering this down pipe if you are in the market.

Also Tim's customer service is fantastic, and he went out of his way to make sure I had the right product and all the OEM bits and pieces i requested for the install...

                    Thanks heaps!

                      Hi Mate

Where did you get it installed, and wondering how much was installation?

You don't know how many times I've gone to Tim's website, just to check if it's in stock, then click on add to cart but bailed out. I've been wanting this down pipe for months but I'm just too afraid to let go of my money now, it's just a matter of time, I'll buy this I tell you, just need some pushing to make the leap.

                        Hey mate,

I actually have access to a hoist/workshop so I did it myself, I'm currently writing up a quick review of my install and will post it up either tonight or in the morning . Well like Tim said they had a delay in shipment from the manufacturer and we have been waiting a while and finally got them, i think he has only a couple left so hit him up an email if you want to buy one before they all go.

Definitely worth every cent this down pipe such good quality and love the difference in exhaust sound and hearing the turbo spool up so much smoother. Here is the push... DO IT! just go and do it you will not regret it haha

I assume you're using it with the stock catback? Is there any drone?

I have an impression that when paired with the stock catback it's just very standard until you go wide open throttle that's when you can hear the louder exhaust.

If this is the case then I want one. The APR downpipe I had on my last polo gti was drony and pretty loud even when idling and could hear it inside at the back room of the house but once it was uninstalled, I couldn't hear it anymore. So it was a bloody big difference. Would the eurojet one be roughly the same or is it much quieter and very close to stock when idling? Also is it drony when driving?

What are your experiences so far Tim and vvw747?

Sorry about the late reply to both aVex and Gti Dave, been hitting the slopes .

Ok i just went on a long drive to Mt Buller and no drone whatsoever in 5th or 6th gear at 100-110. However when you are going up hill and the manifold pressure increases you can hear a bit of a drone but that is to be expected. Yes i did just use the stock cat back and the eurojet down pipe just bolts up to it no modifications required.

Furthermore, although at idle there is a deeper tone but its not louder than the stock down pipe just deeper and you can't hear the exhaust unless you push it but when you give it some its got a nice deep tone to it.

Only thing I can comment on (not necessarily a bad thing) you can hear the turbo more and its almost like a rattle but i think its just the harmonics of the stainless steel down pipe. Yes i did double and triple checked for loose bits and pieces.

Hope that helps and made sense

                              Cheers,

                              Joe
