Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC H&R sport springs to suit MKV Jetta and other models

I have for sale a set of H&R sport springs that came off our MKV Jetta FSI.

These springs were great in our car as they improved the stance and handling especially around courners, only selling due to new suspension installed.

They lowered our car approximately 40-45mm.

    Part numbers,
    Front KBA 90806 (29261-2VA(F)
    Rear KBA 90806 (29261-HA(R)

Springs were on the car for less than 40,000kms and are still in great condition.

These may also fit other model golfs and audi a3's but it's your own responsibility to check if they will fit your car before buying.

I haven't got a picture of the rear springs as they are still at the workshop but i will pick them up asap and post pics.

Hi robbie, I was using these with our standard shocks and IMO the ride was great, comfortable yet sporty.

Also i did read on an overseas forum a while back of a guy with a golf TDI who was running these same springs with his standard shocks.

If you want to see how much it lowers the car you can look at my build thread page and see the difference.
