  • NSW MK4 coilovers & sway bars and Neuspeed Pulleys

    Hi All,

Due to a change in plans with my car, I'm selling my suspension bits.

TA Technix Coilovers for 4Mo Bora - well, the fronts are height adj. coilovers and the rears are height adjustable shocks & springs. $500 COURIERED ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA!!! - The cost more than this new without shipping. They've been taken out of their box and thats all.

Front Whiteline swaybar for MK4's - Control arm mounted (ie NOT for 4Mo's) didn't realise it was the wrong one until the subframe was down and it was mounted to the car, so it has been fitted but never driven with. Its as good as new but I fear the bushes have gone missing. Either way, $150 is a bargain!

Rear Whiteline swaybar for MK4's - Still in a Whiteline plastic bag, never seen the light of day. $200

Neuspeed Power Pulley kit for 4Mo's - See this thread where I bought them. Same price $110 posted.

I *think* the coilovers will fit MK4 R32's and 8L S3's though I can't confirm this, so purchase at your own risk.

Damn, if I were in Syd I'd definitely pick up the suspension!

I might make an offer if you were willing to send the coilovers to Melbourne.

I just did a rough lookup on courier costs, $50 ish - I put in specs from memory so it could be more or less than that. Throw me an offer.

Can you give me more info?

How low can they go? How are they for comfort on the street?

I dont know how comfortable as I never fitted them.
They are the same as the coilovers that dylan08 is using in his Bora, you can see that it can go pretty low and he has said to me that the comfort is ok.

Ok I'll do a bit of reading up on them and if it's all good I'll make an offer. You did mention the rears aren't coilovers but springs and shocks? Is that normal?

Mk4's don't have independent rear suspension, so they have a separate strut and spring combo - it says they're height adjustable, so they're the coilover setup for a non-IRS car. I wouldn't bother making an offer - $500 for a set of coilovers is an absolute steal, let alone being brand new!

Will get this to you shortly. From memory its a 24mm h/duty blade sway bar for control arm mounts (doh!)

Hey mate I think I'll pass on the coilovers as it's not exactly what I need (although it's a very tempting price). Good luck with the sale!

Would the coil overs fit on a 2.0 or just 4 motion?
