  • VIC Mk 2 8V engine, ECU, gearbox & other bits

    Hi guys,

After swapping the VR6 into the mk 2, I've got a bunch of stuff I dont need any more.

Few bits and pieces left still

-Driveshafts, CV's, $100 or MAKE AN OFFER (one set only) (100mm)

-Subframe, inc swaybar & control arms, MAKE AN OFFER.

-mk 2 GTI brakes, 239mm. Hub/upright & caliper is one unit. Offers

Odd collection of hoses, old but not cracked or swollen, $10 each. New top hose (head to radiator) $25.

Few other odds and ends, let me know if you need anything specific.

Any inquires hit me up here, or send a PM.

Keen to move this stuff, as it's just taking up space, Prices are negotiable; so reasonable offers will be considered! Located in Springvale. Postage at buyers cost & arrangement.

    Thanks
    Jarred

      They're standard mk 2 driveshafts/CV, I assume they're 100mm.

Engine would be ~9.5 or 10:1 comp ratio, and not nessecarily suited to forced induction.
There were more than one size. The early flange is 100mm, the others are about 96 or so.

Engine code is RV as per every aussie delivered mk2 gti ive seen.

Gearbox code is AUG. Ratios can be found here VW 020 Transmission Information

            Hey Jarred.

Are the 256mm MK3 brakes bigger than the stock ones? I can't seem to find an answer on the googles.

              Cheers Tim!

yes Ben, the brakes are bigger. standard are 239mm. Small upgrade, but noticeable and cheap. Should be a bit easier sourcing pads/discs too.

May have noticed that there is an ac compressor there, would you be interested in selling the whole ac system, if so $$$???

                            AC System is kaput.

depends what you want off the engine. Prefer to sell as whole/runner
