  • NSW EOI: Genuine 17" Aristo wheels

    Hi all,

    I've (sadly, and after much thinking to be sure this is what I want/need to do) decided that it may be time to let my 17" Aristo wheels go.

    They're a genuine VW part (Part #JNV 601 025), they were offered as an option on the some Mk4 Golfs/Boras/New Beetles, but rarely taken - I've not seen evidence of another set in the country.

    Specs are: 17"x7.5"J ET38, PCD is 5x100, 57.1mm centre bore. They're a great alternative to 18" wheels (they look just like the R32 Aristos) on rougher roads (and let's be honest, all roads in this country seem pretty rough) - you get the Aristos look, but still get some tyre sidewall compliance.

    I believe they should fit:

    * Mk3 VR6
    * Mk4 Golf/Bora
    * Mk1 TT
    * 9N Polo with 5x100 PCD hubs (maybe GTI only)

    They will come without tyres (as I'll be transfering the existing tyres over to another set of wheels), though they do come with centre caps. I am looking for $1200 for the set of four.

    If anyone's interested, let me know.

          This is killing me.
          I'd love to put these on my red pog, powder coat them either white or black.
          Must. Stop. Spending.
          14 days into ownership and parts plus petrol i'm down almost a grand :S

            Do it. Then you are up for another grand or so to get the car lowered so the rims look right...

            And should be all 9n, 9n3 Polo's.

              Trip to Europe is booked for June, may wait till after then for more mods (chip included).
              There seems to be a steady stream of goodies changing hands on here so there'll always be something else

                Two are pristine, two have repaired minor blemishes repaired (not noticable after repairs).

                  How much are you looking at selling them for? I am looking at replacing my lenso type Ms and am eyeing out some TT wheels, but Aristo look exy too!

                  That is if it won't break the bank!

                        Available from VW dealerships as an option - I have the receipt somewhere (I wasn't the original purchaser, but I was given the receipt when I purchased them).

                          as far as oem wheels, these would have to be the best going for a pog or mk4 - and they're GINUWINE!!

                            I didnt know the they made 17inch Aristos, any pics ??????

                            I was reading on Vortex and they are calling them Ariettas

                            Do they look exactally the same as the MK4 R32 wheels

                              ETKA disagrees with Vortex:

                              Pic of them on a Mk4 GTI:

                              Pic of them on my car (was badly lowered at the time, driveway slope didn't help):

                              They look exactly like the Mk4 R32 Aristos, only they're 17x7.5 rather than 18x7.5 as the R32 ones were.
