Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey mate!
Just a few questions about these, are the chrome handles the ones from veedubmachine?
Also just double checking they come with everything in the photo asides for the window winders?
& also would you happen to know postage off the top of your head approximately to WA? If not i'll ask dad later tonight since he works for Aus Post.
Fairly interested in these so i'll have a bit of a think about it then i'll get back to you!
    Cheers!

      Hey mate,

So everything on the door card is included apart from the winders. The black trim at the top near the glass is a separate trim piece and not included.

The door handles are not VW items. These are fully custom panels and you will remove your panels and handles prior to fitting these. I'm not promising you won't have to make some minor adjustments to suit your release mechanism but it would be nothing serious.

I'll include the retaining clips on the back side.

So yeah, everything except the winders.

I'll quote you on Courier, Parcel Delivery & Shipping Services in Australia:Same Day Delivery tonight based on the dimensions once I've measured everything up.

Awesome! I shouldn't imagine it would be to hard to modify the release mechanism if i had to
        Sounds the goods!
I shall await a postage quote

Mate, if you want door to door your looking at around $100 to Perth.

If you are happy collecting them from a depot, you looking between $40-$60.

          Let me know.

Ohk doesn't sound to bad, I have a few people in Perth I could probably get to collect them for me if i asked.
Just out of interest though I was having a chat to Dad (works for Aus Post) & he recons it would probably be alot cheaper to either send it registered/insured via Aus Post or via Startrack Express (couriers), having both had decent experience with both companies for both personal & business reasons as far as the ordering/sending of product goes. So would you be able to give me the measurements/weights so I could get some quotes from these people as well? Save you spending time on it again haha.
            Cheers mate!

No stress, I based the estimates on 60x45X40 and a weight of 14KG. My postcode is 2777.

Your right, I just did a Startrack price and for that size by road to postcode 6000 is $50 door to door.
