VIC Mk4 TT BigFront Brake Upgrade Kit

Hi all,

after never fitting this to the Golf and with the arrival of my new polo GTI imminent, I am in no need anymore of these parts.

Kit is all second hand parts I have picked up along the way which include:
-Calipers
-Caliper carriers
-Bearing housing / spindles / the thingys that hold your wheel bearings and hubs that the brakes bolt onto which have bearings and hubs already in them.
-312mm Discs with a bit 'o meat still in them
-Pads from the same discs

For a GTI you WILL NOT need the bearing housings as your carriers will unbolt from your existing spindles, all N/A models will need the whole setup.









Price? $500 ONO (make an offer that is reasonable) for the lot

Will this suit the MK2 Golf?

I'm not sure, you would have to ask some of the Mk2 gurus. You will need generally a minimum of 17" wheels to clear, some VAG 16" wheels ""JUST"" clear I believe.

OEM 16" wheels should clear (these are the same brakes as the Bora V6 4Motion came with, and they came with 16" wheels standard).

I am running 16 inch Bora wheels and those front brakes on my Roomster. There is just enough clearance.

Actually, they were OEM on Bora V5 and V6 4mo models

Oops I meant bora V6 with standard 16 inch wheels, that are not hard to clear , I didnt know whey were onthe V5 too

Bump to top. Brakes were standard on 4Motion boras, of which we only got the v6 here.

Price drop guys, will be putting on ebay also along with wheels and rear anti roll bar if no interest here. Need to clean out the living room of car parts!

Nope, sorry. Wheels are original 14" that came off the car. Wheels are the ones in my sig, can send you a bigger pic if you're interested....

Would they fit an 08' Polo GTI?

I believe that they will as the last polo ran almost identical underpinnings to the Mk4 Golf, but double check with one of the 9N Polo gurus....

TT and S3 are bolt on for 9n3 GTI, should fit fine. Seems a bit pricey, what make are the rotors and pads?
