Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW FS: EVOMS V-Flow 2.0TFSI Intake - suit MkV GTI, S3, etc

For Sale: EVO Motorsport V-Flow Intake for the 2.0TFSI motor - currently fitted to my MkV GTI, should suit other 2.0T engines of the same era. I don't know if this fits the Mk6 GTI.

Includes the piping, pod filter, plastic intake-holder-thingy, clamps, etc. It's about 3 years old, and has the usual grime from sitting in an engine bay for 3 years! It's mostly plastic, so wipes down pretty easily, but the pod filter could do with a clean - either via a cleaning kit, or you can buy a new filter for ~$60.

EVOMS Heat shield included, subject to removability (I recall it was a pain to get in!)

If it was up to me, I'd leave it on - but I know some buyers will freak out, so it's got to come off. I could just pay to get it removed + sell it, but then someone's got to get it installed & their original intake/cover removed - so probably cheaper/easier/quicker for one mechanic to do both cars at once & for the buyer to sort out the labour fees.

Here's a photo of the EVOMS installed in my engine bay:

Asking For: Professional removal of my EVOMS intake & re-installation of my original GTI intake/engine cover (ie labour cost) plus $50 cash.

I'm in Sydney, so this would suit Sydney buyers only.
