Haver decided to go diesel and no longer plan to run this setup.
Engine was purchased from Golf Loon about 2 months ago.
Has since been stripped to just block and head, degreased and cleaned of 95% gunk.
Brand New Exhaust Studs and nuts and washers
Brand new Tappet cover Studs, dome nuts and washers
Fitted a new water pump (less then 1500kays on it)
Have a inlet manifold and a standard solex carby for it,
210mm heavy duty clutch setup
4 speed box (has a small leak, but runs fine )
1.6L vacuum advance distributer
near new distributer cap, rotor button, points, and spark leads (pretty black ones with chrome ends)
Brand new race spec engine mount (drivers side) only fitted, never driven on. COst a pretty penny, will include it for extra.
Have yet to fire it up, and pretty sure its still under warranty from Camden GTi
Looking at $700 ono for the whole package. its nearly a direct drop in and run, just need a alternator setup, gasket or two for manifolds and a electric pump.
ENGINE MOUNT is for sale separately but if bought with this engine then add an extra $100
Can have it on a pallet ready for shipping if buyer wants.
