NSW Yarrowsport Rear Stress Brace - suit Mk4 platform

Howdy all

I bought a Yarrowsport Rear Stress Brace off a fellow forum member about 8 weeks ago roughly and have had no time to fit it. Also, I've discovered that not even Gruvenparts or Yarrowsport know how to fit it to a Mk4 sedan - hatches are fine however and they get great write-ups.

I've not even opened the package it came in, and the original owner hadn't opened it either so it is absolutely brand new never been opened.

Looking for $80 pick up or buyer pays postage. It's what i paid so i'm not gaining or losing here.

Chrome. I'm told the black ones are currently not even in production and were quite rare anyway.

I think they look sweet in chrome, but personal taste i guess.

i've had a few PMs about shipping costs but all the sites have it listed as $30-$40 shipping which i know is wrong. I'll have to actually take it to a AustPost office.

Highly reccommend this mod. the change it makes has blown me away.

The simple fact that this is an awesome bolt-in bolt-off mod for a mk4 hatch and does so much is awesome and is what made me buy it. Only to then realise that not even Gruven or Yarrow know how to fit it or have any hints for a sedan.

Plus there is the "gutter test" theory that show the hatch-lid doesn't shut properly when a hatch has one side up on a gutter but the sedan's rear shelf and sheet metal appear to add enough rigidity. I personally think the mod would still be very worthwhile but i don't want to start chopping up my boot carpet when its such an easy bolt in for the hatches.
