Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW Digifast2 EPROM to suit 8/16V Digifant cars

I have a spare Digifast 2 EPROM up for sale - suits the Bosch ECU.

Increases pick-up, reduces lag, increases economy.

    Heaps of info on Vortex.

    $45 posted.

    I've got this in my 8V MK2.

For the money it's well worth it. Nice stronger pull in the mid range and the top end.

    Velly?

This is the ECU that it was in - so you need to do your research.

It will provide benefits if you have done CAM/Valve mods in the same way as it would to the stock engine (as this is to change the timing and fuelling) to reduce lag down low.

Can't believe there are no MK2 owners wanting a performance increase for under $50.
