I've got T1R's on my mk 2 at the moment, and do recommend them as a performance tyre!

I've pushed mine reasonably hard (not as hard as you stoie!) and was pretty impressed by their grip. Don't expect to get a millions miles out of them if you're up the hills every other weekend though!

Yeah I have heard many a good review from friends, they are definitely looked at as a good tyre.
As for pushing hard, well I always do! (and that's on SP Maxx's!!!)
Think my DSG is going... :S only done 18,000kms (... turbo time )
