weight? much less then the oem r's. apparently under 8kg each according to what ive found


et38, they sit right on the guards and dont rub. fitted on OEM VW Mk4 Anniversary's (never released in aus)

but the worst thing about those wheels is the centre cap. only thing im not sure on.

They're not under 8kg, I have a set of 16's in the same width and they're just over 9kg.

according to BBS they are 8.1kg for the 18x8.5 .. my bad.. .1 out! and thats 1" wider

you can also get BBS centrecaps from ebay as well.

BBS RC 18*8,5 wheel is 18,7 lbs

Nope without tires and they were an entry level BBS wheel at the time and that is something to consider. And Pierre you can get the VW style centre caps fairly easily but for the actual 80mm Chrome BBS caps its impossible as they no longer exist. You're looking at 2-400AU for the 4 chrome centres in BBS sytle (the plastic centre not the dish and housing), I have a 1/2 decent set from two wheels and that took me about 6 months to find.

Again, the chrome centres are not easy to find (given you found a single used one in the first link, and you had the incorrect carbon black ones in the second) and paying well over $500AU for centres is a lot by anyone's standards, and that isn't including post and hassle. At the price you are asking for them it is rather unfair to not include caps and centres.

I mentioned if you want OTHER centre caps than VW ones you can purchase BBS ones instead at your own pleasure!

They are all over ebay germany, ebay uk, other sites if you google. No offense dude but where the HELL do you search for things as there are more then plenty places to buy things from.

Centre Caps for BBS wheels are never cheap genuine. I paid over $180 for my DPE Centre Caps. You pay for quality and for what you get. My BBS CK's werent cheap either, even different centre cap (red ones) which im considering arent cheap.

Golf Houso - If you dont want to buy the wheels why are you poo pooing in Fusions for sale thread? They are his so he can sell them for a million dollars if he wants. It seems you hop onto every for sale thread to complain things are too expensive and really.. Its against the rules to do that. I think you should give yourself an infraction

PS. RCs are a fantastic wheel! Always loved them and *including tyres* I think the price is quite attractive.
