Hi people. SALE PENDING
I just removed my OEM VW towbar from my Golf mkv GTI and it is up for sale. This bar will replace the steel reinforcement bar behind the bumper. The black box is the control unit for the lights. The only thing missing from this is the other part of the wiring from the control unit to where the wires are tapped into the rear lights.
For those who are interested, I also have the bottom part of the rear bumper which has been cut to fit the towbar.
If you want to fit a towbar to your golf but are reluctant to pay fat price of what the dealer is charging, here's your deal. I understand that the dealer charges about $1200 - $1500 fitted (Correct me if I am wrong), but i am willing to sell it for 1/3 of the price.
Shipping? no way, too heavy. If you are local (around melbourne), I wouldn't mind delivering it to you.
