Ok, so I have some special seats on offer for all you Mk1 owners.
The Red and Black Stripy pattern was found on late Mk1 GTIs including campaigns and on early Mk2 GTIs.
I made the fronts from original red and black inserts, flipped over to make the fronts lovely again and the side bolsters and padding are from a 20VT Passat.
These are the best of both worlds, new virgin bolsters from a late model car with no rips, and the retro stripy fabric, mounted on Mk1 seat bases, ready to bolt into a Mk1. The passat padding is bigger than normal Mk1, which is useful if you are a larger person.
I also utilised the extra adjusting wheel on both seats and made the fronts fold forward.
Only really made these as an exercise in seat building, and because I had a matching rear seat and doorcards for a 4 door Mk1 to Match.
I would have spent 20 hours on the two front seats I reckon, but they are as mint as you are gonna get and still look retro.
Looking for $500.
You get both front seats, rear bench and 4 door cards.
