Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I need to explain these wheels some more, i bought them in germany and shipped these wheels here about five years ago with the intention of putting them on a project car i had. i spent large getting them and into the country, i realize i may not recoup all the money spent but i am looking to get as much as possible.

These wheels look so cool and are in very good condition, minor paint chips and such but very good over all. I am not sure what these are really worth, they must be very rare. However, not looking to rip anyone off, just want to make a fair deal with someone.

I will consider any reasonable offers will also consider interesting trades.

might be interested in the Audi wheels. Few Q's
                - how old are they?
                - you have any pics of them on a car?
                - you have any closer up/higher quality pics of the wheels
                - et 45. I'd be thinking for a Tiguan, which is ET33, so I think ET45 means they would sit a bit closer in to the suspension than ET33's?

                post here or PM

                cheers

they are i think bout 7 years old, i believe from an 8l audi a3,
I dont have any pics of them mounted on the car, two of the wheels hve a bit of gutter rash on them, but are straight and could be fixed inexpensively..
I will try get some better snaps tomorrow, i will happily help with anything i can.

                  Cheers for the interest

here are some good photos of the wheels, the best and worst of the set of five the other three are in decent condition, and still for sale..

As for the Brabus wheels i have decided to bite the bullet and ask for $1000OBO for them... as sad as it is i have to get rid of them to help offset my addiction to modify
