How do the side trims attach? Do they need clips or are they adhesive?

Also, what did you spray the bumpers with? Mine need doing

they attach exactly how the thin ones do, with the white grommets. They just sit along the crease instead.

I sanded, primed and sprayed with a gun, satin black.

I was gonna have those trims of you but mine is a early car where the trim was stuck on so i don't have the holes for the white grommets.

They all have this feature. Mine is an 89 with full 90' spec trim. All mk2's have the same holes for the side trim.

no, my new REAL g60 has already got them, dont need two sets.

Not true my man, pre 87 MK2's (Type 19's) had the side trim stuck on with a kind of gluey rubber bathroom sealant type stuff. I spent a week on the garage floor trying to get it off. No holes to be seen. I have pictures if you want to see them.

mines got them, but 2dr. there 70mm high for the small bumpers

the trim is from the uk and yes they are for the gl 4 door pre89, not the gti with the red stripe and groove. cost me $100.

so a loss at $60
