ok,

My previous daily was a Ford Hectiva for which I had some Suzuki Swift steelies rebarreled and custom painted for. These rims were run for 2months tops till I got defected, twice.

So the specs are 4x100, 54.1mm cb, staggered 15x8's in +10 and +25 painted in Satin Black centers and inner barrels with Lamborghini Orange lips; This orange pops like crazy in the sun!

Fully balanced and basicly brand new 185/45 Nankang NS-2 tires.

The negative:
One tire has sidewall rubbing.
Both rear rims used to tuck up into the guard and as a result it was rubbing the paint off the lip.
Paint has a few drips.

To be honest I didn't think they would cost so much, but hey that's alot of new rubber which really makes it a bargin!
Tempting but I just don't think I can say no to RS's.

Being in the VW parts for sale section I take it that they will fit a Mk1 Golf??

they will fit mk1 or mk2 golf with a widened center bore hole with only 1.5mm of boring

are the tyres 40 or 45 profile? never seen 40 profile 185's in the NS2's, where did you get them from?

I would say they fit a Mk3 GL/CL with some lip work at the rears.

Mate, rs's are plaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeddddddd oooooooouuuuuuuuttttttttt......... get something fresh with wicked offsets! and fyi; $70 for the original steelies, $160 per rim to have widened ($640), $500 for paint and $400 worth of tyres = $1610.
