looking to sell my 1.8l engine code gx,5 speed manual gearbox code ff,with gearbox mount for 5 speed and gear links for 5 speed. the lot is still in my mk1.the engine had work done to it in the pass with cam and oversize valves.it runs on carburator witch will be supply with the lot as well as all other bits.it goes very good and there are no oil leaks.asking price is $1000 any question please ask.

You may find it hard to sell a stock 1.8L, especially a GX code, as they are a Yank low compression slug. All 80 something hp

I couldn't even get $100 buck for my stock GX & it was & still is a mint runner.

seriously man. you posted up that ad like 8 hours before hand! not everyone checks the forums everyday!

things like grammer, spelling, photos will also help with a sale. people also might want to know if you're willing to separate the engine and box. people might also like to know how long ago the engine was rebuilt, and to what level it was rebuilt (ie, just the head, new pistons etc etc) Carb details would also help. Which inner CV's are you running? 90 or 100mm?? Do you have any proof (ie dyno, 1/4mile times) to prove the 'serious' power?
