I really don't know how much these engines are worth so I can't quite just put up a price. Anyone know what they would be worth realistically?
Lawny- Its been done before. I remember one of the tassie boys chucked one in a 2 door mk1 but never got around to finishing it and it ended up for sale with the vr6 engine in it.
requires major fabrication to get into a mk1. Much easier into a late model mk2
Although I think it would be a bad idea OMO because the engine is quite heavy and when you put it in a mk1 the car would become unbalanced ( to much weight on the front).
