      Just measured them, 239mm. So standard GTI 8v. I'm guessin' they'll fit any MK3 but a 2.0l?

My MK2 has solid discs, so these won't fit unless i change the calipers, mine is an early '84 non-gti model.

These should fit the later Aus delivered MK2's.

The only reason i got these to begin with was because i was told the discs on my car were 'undersized' in a RWC check. I ordered a set of discs from Golfloon, but didn't specify whether i needed solid or vented. When i took it to a mechanic to get them fitted he said the discs and pads on the car were fine and the RWC check was in-correct. My car is only a 1600 carb so its no fireball and the brakes on it are fine. So these discs have just been sat in my garage for a year or so.
In the future i intend to do an engine conversion so i'll get bigger brakes then, but thats gonna loooong into the future.
I'm not gonna use them so someone else can have them.

Just didn't want you to waste them for a set of pads. Will clean out the chatter...

The only part of the human body that has no blood supply is the cornea in the eye. It takes in oxygen directly from the air.

430mm Radiator sounds alittle small & would be more suited for a 1.1-1.3L version

As far as I can remember, Aust. got a 480mm core built in expansion tanked version (fitted with cap) & also a 480mm core version with an external expansion tank (radiator with return hose) which was mostly fitted to the Diesel.

The GTI 1.8L was a 525mm cored Radiator

For interest sake, there was only 4 different fan cowls stamped as well. suited for the 1.1-1.3L, 1.6-1.8L, GTI & Diesel & then the Diesel with A/C which was something like 580mm wide! Massive!

Aust. only got the one sized cowl for the 480mm cores.

                          Back on topic.

                          Interested in the Discs though.

How much would postage cost to Post code 3222?

                          Cheers

                          Tim.
