NSW Gen 1 and 2 Blue Haldex controllers

Attention Mk4 and Mk5 4motion (Bora, R32, Passat) and Audi A3/S3 quattro drivers!

I have been looking for an upgraded Blue Haldex controller for my Bora 4motion and I have found a shop overseas that are willing to offer Gen1 and Gen2 Haldex Performance controllers at the same rate if we order 10.

Basically they workout at AU$1300 each - inclusive of shipping, duties and gst costs.

So, any 4motion variant drivers interested in joining in, PM me.

I am thinking of acting soon, so let me know by end of next week so we can put the order through before Easter.

I concur. My car's seven (more) shades of awesome with the blue controller, and given the local pricing of around $1900, this is a steal (and I suspect only available whilst the Aussie dollar is so strong, which won't last forver!). The nature of the AWD is much more predictable, and much more like permanent AWD (I come from a history of Subaru permanent AWD vehicles). Highly recommended!

Heavily depends on local or import... I have found a US store selling them on EBAY for about 1000USD + 120ish USD shipping, then add duties and taxes.. and currency conversion

Or get it local for about AUD1850!

Are they willing to declare a lower value to avoid gst? Would make it alot more attractive

Generally not something that's recommended since doing so will affect insurance payout should they go missing in transit. Duty and GST adds less than 15% all up.

Original post indicates $1300 all inclusive.

I believe you could replace yourself if you know what you're doing - it's basically just the controller for the rear diff, so the connections are electrical.

Guys, I havent had a firm 10 so I'm closing this. I know someone else had neg'ed another deal ( min of 5 ) from a UK supplier, so if your still interested, voice up and we'll get the other deal rolling.
