Just landed, fresh off the boat.

1.9 Diesel Engine from a Golf 3.

Will bolt straight in in place of a Mk1 1.6 Diesel engine.

Uses the basic mechanical type pump.

Includes pump, alternator, waterpump and manifolds etc.

Has the good Alternator bracket which allows you to use the continuous belt without ac or power steer.

Motor turns over and is a runner. Timing belt looks a little old and you would be wise to replace before installation.

Bargain at $1350.

how many kms had it done when you bought it

is there much blow by in the crankcase

Its an import mate, fresh off the boat.
It came from a wrecking yard in the uk, that I have done business before, so the source is good.
I have not compression tested it as it has no gearbox etc attached to it, but I have purchased several engines from this mob and all have been good.
I will give you 3 months warranty on the unit.
