Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • TAS APR 3" Downpipe Mk4 GTI

I have a 3" APR downpipe for Mk4 GTI. Part number CD100010. I'm not sure but I think these are left hand drive specific so I don't think it will fit right hand drive cars as it is. You could probly get it moddified at an exhaust shop to fit. A 2.5" APR downpipe costs $1100
    $420 +postage

There is a small flattened bit on the end from shipping, though could easily be knocked out.

I ordered a 2.5" cat back but got sent this by mistake. I would have considered keeping it but already have a 2.5" APR downpipe. But if anyone is doing a custom exhaust here would be a chance to buy a quality downpipe cheap. It's brand new, only been out of the box to have those pics taken.

I'm interested, but dont want to stuff round much trying to modify it if it isnt going to fit properly. Can you see or know what the difference is between the RHD and LHD ones?
