There weren't many Mk3 Golf Synchros, full stop. Rare bit of kit!

Owned one myself, chewed the juice. I can vouch for the diesel 020 mind, stronger bit of gear.

Still have this very rare gearbox... dosn't anyone want to build a totally awesome car with this... Picture a mk1 with this and decent power leaving a wrx or SS dunnedore at the lights!

Ive done crazier things before just check the photos of my twin engine MK1 in my gallery! If it dosn't sell i will have to fit it into a MK1 myself!

man i would take this in a second and spend the next 6 months in my skunk works making a serious threat for the EVO's and WRX's in the WA rally scene, if only CAMS wasn't so GAY and let a classic VW car have half a chance of competing with the modern AWD, porsche and 250-300hp 16v escorts. This is awesome for the street guys, someone step up and have a go, you'll be surprised for sure by the results

yeah, Cams regs almost seem to aim to solely keep the escort No1 classic rally car and anything other than a AWD EVo WRX GTR can go to hell. I say scrap CAMS and bring on the ASAA

Grab a mk2 body, they came in awd... you could run a worked off its head G60 engine

Ill be in Sydney this weekend coming 13th and 14th and can deliver this gearbox setup and save a small fortune in courier costs The street cred of building this let alone the how awesome it would be to drive with serious power in front of it would be worth the effort!
