No chance of it going on anything but the MK3. There are some common parts on SEATs but the grill isnt one of them.

how easy is it to paint the grill? i am seriously interested, my grille has been bent

If you take your paint code down to Autobarn, they will match your paint into a spray can ($20). Few light coats and hey presto!
Or take it to a panel beater and they can paint it for you!
