Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW 5x100 ROH 15x6.5 ET38 polished lips

Hey folks I have a set of these wheels which I need to shift since I've just bought yet another set of wheels and I just don't have time to finish these up.

They're 15x6.5 ET38 with a 66mm centrebore, with a m17 standard bore hole, and come with a handful of m17-m14 inserts but you would need around 13 more to complete the set. Most good wheel shops should have both the bolt inserts and the hubcentric spacers for 57-66mm.

They're an ROH from 1990 (its printed on one wheel) which do not clear VR6 288 calipers on the front, but do on the backs and would need 10mm spacers to clear the front or even a 5mm.

Another issue is that one wheel has a slightly bent lip, which I will take a picture of in the morning but can easily be removed with some persuasion or around 70-100 for a new piece to be welded on.

Two wheels have the lips polished and are cleaned, another is approximately 50% of the way through and needs 800-autosol to be finished. The final wheel is the one with the slight bend in the lip and has not been worked on.

    Asking $50

Because I just want them gone, these should also PERFECTLY fit on most subaru's and celica's etc and actually come with a complete set of bolt covers and inserts of an M17, which in itself is probably worth 50-70 in itself...

I will get more pictures up tomorrow and you can PM or email me on bkragovic@gmail.com

    Cheers, Branko
