all i can tell you about this is ... it has been fully rebuilt top to bottem

1.6 litre bored out to ?? near 1.8 , not sure but has been done

after market cam , ( lumpy) still not sure what type , but its ment to be a fully race spec..

side draft weber 45, on lynix manifold

extracters from germany , stainless steel , still brand new

this has been sitting for two years , has been undercover and been out off moisture, but manifolds have been a little exposed , there has been no oil in the engine since it has been rebuilt as it has not been started ! the manifold is new as with the weber and extracter kit, all bolts on rocker cover have not been tentioned , as it has been rebuilt , it is very clean and brand new !

Im not sure who built it here in perth ? but it was by a person who knows the deal with mk1s , all i can say this is a fast engine and very revvy i could imagine, it is still under plastic wrap ,l and sitting upright ,

all parts and inside have been rebuilt and am confident this is the real deal , i have never started this donk as i wanted to but no longer have a mk1
all pipe and weber , extracters included , this was a engine built for the track , so not sure how it would go on the street ?

with right fuel pump , and coils ect.... this will go

Im not going to wast my time on this engine , i will keep it untill i get another mk1 , but when ?

so the offer is here , with all the mods on this it is worth it , as you can see the extracters are proper welded from germany , as with the inside of the engine it is proper engineered !!! the weber side draft is new as well , but i do not have the two pipes for it , or k/n filter ,
i had the same weber on my 76 golf 1.6 and it was awsome , the sound came through the fire wall lol from the weber , anyways no time for this !!!

no not really , i want to keep this engine how it was , the fella had done this project (engine) , so i would like to keep it all intak ... cheers
