2002 GTI For Wrecking

Car has only done 12,000ks (Twelve Thousand!!!) Ever

It was rolled over by a drunken idiot when it was nearly new and has been under a tarp until now.

Every body panel is trashed, but the rest of it is OK.

Engine can be heard running and is like new.

Interior is good.

Lots of little nick nacks available.

Be quick before I decide to do something crazy and re-shell it.

Hey mate,
Just wondering if the headlights, steering wheel and possibly airbag if it’s not deployed and wheels are available. Also if it’s not too much trouble pics and prices would be great. Cheers

Headlights are destroyed, airbag is gone off. 3 wheels are great.

Hmm, why does something like this come up when im trying to save money.

I have a bit of a list of things im after so here goes:
- parcel shelf (or just the retractable bits of string really)
- how are the seats?
- cup holder in dash
- front interior door handle plastics
- air box
- tail lights (esp lhs)



there will prob be more things i would like if i though about it hard, Need to think of what i want for the MK4 and what i need for the MK1.

I'm interested in the woodgrain surround that goes around the radio and climate (left and right sides) and also the cover of the OBD port.

May also be interested in the inner door grabs depending on condition.

hey golf loon, Any chance you have any of the following,

I'm after the surround for the handle on the top of the back seat. The one you pull to fold the back seat down, also i need a drivers side door lock module.

I reckon yes I will have door lock modules

Also Wheels are immaculate, 3 of them, probably $100 each inc tyres.

I will take all the trim out of the car when I have a moment and photograph it all and then you can make me offers.

Lots of you have requested Trim and Seats, so I reckon the best way is to take them out, see what condition they are in and get some photos and we can go from there.

Got it running today and the motor sounded sweet, might have to put it aside for a killer conversion.

To those of you that want the Seats as an upgrade for a lower speced car.

How about this set of A3 perches??

$500 for the set, same bolt in points as a Mk4.
Yes I can cut the mounting points out if you want them for a Golf 3.
