Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VR6 Air Flow Meter

    Hey Guys

    I have a new air flow meter for a VR6 for sale. I bought it for my Golf when I suspected the old one had given up, turned out the throttle body was just a bit dirty and one of the hoses had a slit in it, making it idle a bit irregular and all those usual symptoms. This airflow meter was on the car for 2 days before it had a major service, and all those issues were sorted out, I then put the original air flow meter on and had no issues again.

    I paid just over $400 for it, but I'll be happy with offers around $300?

    Any reasonable, serious offers will be considered.
