I would say yes that it would work on a 1.6, also a vr6-def quicker spool up on a VR. on my VR-t i run a t04e on a built 3.1 Block. I also have another 1 left. I bought a few because i was going to do a twin set up for the R but software was going to be a nightmare so i sold the manifolds and some other stuff and went with a custom GT35R instead. Cheers J
