If you’re installing additional battery in your T5, you need a secure battery plate. This one is from my T5 4mo and I’ve modified it to fit 75Ah or 100Ah battery, it had to be lowered otherwise the seat bench would hit the battery terminals on top.
It’s bolted under the passenger bench seat. The plate can be used to fit std DIN65 battery as well. No need to drill any hole since it’s using the seat base bolts.
