Selling some parts left over from my K04 conversion, as well as some other bits lying around the shed. All prices are ONO.
Engine parts
- K03 turbo: has around 161k kms on it, functions as it should. I haven't cleaned it up much since taking it out, but there's no reason it shouldn't keep going for ages; was running perfectly on a stage 1 tune. $350
- Used OEM revision D diverter valve: untested, but looks to be in working order. $40
- Stock mk5 downpipe: also has around 161k kms on it. $100 (I also have the cat-back section for $100, or $150 for both).
- Used Mk5/6 fuel pump. Has a broken electrical connector, but it worked perfectly fine once I'd superglued it back together. I think it would be pretty bulletproof if you could plastic weld the connector. $80
- OEM PCV valve. Practically new; I put about 100kms on it before replacing it with a catch can. $30
- Mk5 injectors: I replaced these with Mk6 R injectors when I put the bigger turbo in, and although none of them are defective, they're pretty heavily used. All seals and O-rings are either missing or will need to be replaced. $100 for all 4
- Charge pipe assembly, part number 1K0 145 792. $50
- Various bits of intercooler and intake piping that didn't fit with my new turbo: $10 each if you want them.
Interior parts
- Full set of 3-door Mk5 GTI door cards: the back panels have some scratches and the fabric is a bit dirty, but overall these are in decent condition. If you need these parts you know they're hard to find! Comes with door speakers (all untested), but no window switches; would be ideal for a retrim. $300 for the lot - will throw in the aluminium trim from the dash too.
- Mk5 GTI steering wheel, with airbag and steering wheel control module: leather is a bit worn (see photos), but would still be a nice upgrade for a lower-model mk5. $200 for the lot
- Mk5 GTI gear knob: leather is a bit worn and the metal surface is scratched. $20
- Ashtray assembly: comes with 12V plug. $20
Exterior parts
- 17" Denver wheels. I'm told one of them has a bad buckle, and there's some curb rash on another, but otherwise they present pretty well. Tyres are Maxtrex Maximus M1s, with around 30-50% tread left (they're pretty rubbish tyres, so might be worth replacing anyway). $200 for all 4
- Mk5 tail lights: no clouding or condensation. $50
- Mk5 GTI head lights: quite heavily scratched, but they look fine from a distance. They might polish up okay. $50
PM me for more details about any of these parts. Pictures are here: Mk5 GTI parts - Album on Imgur - all available for pick-up in Mount Barker, SA. (My parents are selling these on my behalf while I'm interstate, so it's not very practical for me to post things, but if there's a smaller part you're really keen on we can probably work something out.) I'd take $800 for everything all together.
