No longer require this as the Golf R has gone.
I ran this on the car for nearly 2 years with no issues. With it on, I could keep pace with a Focus RS with no trouble at all. I only ever ran it on Map 6 (conservative, clutch-protection mode). Map 1 would have made it faster.
It has the data cable as well so it can be tuned/modified with custom maps.
One of the locking clips has broken but after conversations with Luke from AutoInstruct (the original suppliers), I carried on using it without issue as the plug was a very tight fit and not going anywhere. It could be repaired easily enough. See last picture for a close-up of the plug.
I ran it on and off the car (around services) without warranty issues or malfunctions.
$250, local pickup preferred. Can post at buyer’s cost.
