turbo kit for 1.8T

    SOLD turbo kit for 1.8T

    I am selling some parts that I recently removed from my Polo GTI 1.8T. The parts will suit 1.8T motors including Polo GTI's, MK4 Golf GTI's or the equivalent Audi's.

    I have a
    - PD160 air intake for Polo GTI
    - Frankenturbo F23 turbo with less than 100km's on it
    - Forge Actuator fitted to the turbo
    - Bosch 550cc injectors
    - Turbo inlet pipe
    - Stainless 3in downpipe that is ceramic coated. It is made to fit a Polo GTI but should be able to adapt to suit most cars.

    This was all set up on my Polo and was running well. The car stopped working after 100kms due to an intermittent issue with the trigger wheel that took ages to find hence the low kilometers. This kit is basically brand new.
    I pulled the motor out and am now going big turbo.

    Selling it all for $1200 pickup or delivery at cost.

    I recently picked up the TIP and Injectors so don't have pics of those yet.

    Pretty surprised no one has said anything
    If it had of come up earlier like when we last spoke about it I probably would have bought it, but I've picked up another kit since
    All this needs by the looks of it is a fuel pump and a tune
    I'm semi interested in the relentless if you wanted to sell that separately.

      The formatting and repeating everything three times made me too skeptical to look into it.

        I know you were interested previously mate but it was a matter of waiting for my mechanic to remove the kit for me to be able to sell it.
        Would have been nice for both of us. You could have grabbed a bargain and I could get some funds to finish the head I'm building for it.

          Not sure what you mean about repeating things three times. But anyway, the kit is there. It's almost new and it's a bargain price.

            RGVlee. You buy this kit and i'll grab the F21 kit you have. Believe me I'm agonising over this. Think I'd just have to run it too conservatively to protect the stock rods that I'd be in lag holes all the time. F21 with the smaller exhaust housing would have to spool quicker than the F23b even with the same wheels yeah. Was yours a franken F21 or some other K03 hybrid?

              Just found Pazuzzu's add. So yours is a frankenturbo too. No idea if F21 and F23 use the same spec wheels and if the exhaust housing is the only difference. I'm guessing the effect of the F23 exhaust housing is like putting an AR .82 on a GT2860 versus a .62? Can't find info on the actual Franenturbo wheels anywhere.

                This should give you an idea of boost curve with a 1.8litre capacity motor.

                His car has a long list of mods but the spool should be reasonably similar regardless.
                With no rods and a good tune you will make power up all the way to redline. No need to short shift.
                A manual boost controller in parallel with the N75 will give you an additional failsafe against boost spikes as well.

                  Pop it up onto the polo fb groups if you can might get a wider reach.
