Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

          Good luck and good hunting.

          Last time I looked (a couple of weeks ago) there was an auto Vento GL on carsales in Melbourne going for $2,5k. Not sure if it is still on there.

            Im looking for a relatively cheap one if possible.
            I hoping in the 100s im in no big rush.
            Also looking for really any mk3 and prior golfs

              You should be able to get a Mk3 for that type of price range. Especially a 1.8l CL and if you are willing to accept a "renovators delight" that needs a bit of TLC.

              Ventos are a bit harder to come by as there were only ever 397 sold in Aus.
