Hi guys,
Sadly, I have to let go of my Golf because I'm going back to uni to study a full time Masters and won't be able to afford to re-register it when rego is due in August.
This car is mechanically immaculate. There are no outstanding repairs to be done and there were NO fault codes from the scan done one week ago.
Good points:
- 8 months left on rego.
- Just 148,000 kms, with 20,000 kms under me.
- It's been routinely serviced with oil changes every 6 months with Castrol Edge 5w-40 fully synthetic oil.
- Scanned with vagcom and maintained by a VW Mk4 specialist in the Eastern Suburbs.
- Only used BP 98 octane premium unleaded fuel.
- All necessary repairs have been done on time and, if you look at my post history, I've always paid that bit extra to make sure it's done properly.
- A transmission service has just been completed, and it is not due for servicing for another 9,000 kms or 8 months.
I've fitted in :
- DEPO headlights (shipped from the US) with bulbs at 6,000 Kelvin for the low beams and the fogs
- A $450 Pioneer double din car DVD player
- Leather seats
- German aftermarket tail lights
- Arctic blue interior lighting
- 17 inch King wheels
Bad points:
- A couple of scratches that I'm in the process of getting touched up with OEM paint
- Rear left power window and lock are a bit laggy but otherwise work fine
- Previous owner had the glove box replaced but it can't be locked
I'm willing to let it go for less than below if I get a good offer for it.
I'm currently living in Kingsford but moving to Epping on January 18th.
