Hi everyone.
Im selling my 1995 mk3 golf. It has 247,XXX ks. It doesnt use any oil or coolant and it doesnt leak it either. It has been a very reliable motor. As we all know the 1.8 8v are bomb proof. Its a 5 speed manual.
I have owned it for about 1.5 years. In that time I have replaced or added:
* 14x6" Genuine BBS basketweaves from a E30. I also have a 5th spare.
* Tyres a great Falkens 912.
* Near new FK coilovers. Quality suspension. It can still go lower. The ride quality is smooth, not like the cheaper ones. I have been very happy with these!
*Ignition system overhaul. New leads, plugs, rotor button, cap and ignition coil.
* New thermostat
* Textured bumpers, flares and skirts
* New front brake discs, pads and brake fluid
* Momo prototipo steering wheel with momo boss kit
* Fixed the dash lights.
Heater works great and air conditioning works even better
Central looking
Power steering
It is currently registered for another 4 months
Tinted windows.
It has an exhaust leak at the center muffler, but ideally it all wants replacing. I will include with the golf a Borla muffler with 2.25"? (from memory) inlet/outlets and is straight through. Nice sound from a quality product.
Selling as I just dont drive it. I have been keeping it as a reliable, back up car while I sort out the problems in my new project/daily driver.
We are also looking at building in a few months so the less stuff I have the better
This has been a fantastic little car and has been incredibly reliable. Sad to sell it.
