Up for Sale is my 01/94 Golf VR6. (the original R) I have owned this car for many years and has been a great car to date. I am a VW enthusiast and this car comes with many mods either from myself or previous owners. I am only the 3rd owner of this car and I have books, reciepts, etc going back to original delivery, I have always been fussy with my cars mechanicaly and like to keep things in order before issues occur. My fussiness is your gain

Will be sad to see her go as the kids and myself enjoy this car however the time has come that I need something bigger, P platter friendly with plenty of grunt and pick up. Sounds amazing with the exhaust set up.
The Good
Engine - Runs smooth and recently serviced. No leaks what so ever
New oil, filter, plugs air filter,
10mm ignition leads for better respinse and fuel burn
new coil pack
Air filter cheese boxed
All new silicone hose kit for better heat transfer
new oil pan and gasket
oil filter housing o rings replaced,
oil cooler o rings
oil cooler hoses replaced
Water pump replaced
Electronic water pump replace (Bosch)
Serpentine belt recently replaced
Thermastat housing, rings, crack pipe, etc, all replaced recently
Allumimium radiator (better heat ransfer and less weight)
A/C Condensor replaced
A/C re gassed as a result, (ice cold)
2.5 inch Remus exhaust (Remus suitcase deleted however have kept this incase is too loud for new owner) sounds aggressive however suitcase will lower noise by atleast 50%
Fuel lines changed as looking a little worn
Euro front lip fitted
Suspension overhauled in stages and handles great.
Shocks, struts, etc replaced with standard bilstein units
Bushes replaced
Eilbach lowered 2.5 springs
Audi S3 17x7 et 32 rims running 205/40/17 (no scrubbing, etc) tyres approx 70% tread
Brake pads changed approx a year ago
Sits low and clean
Interior is very clean with only a few minor scuffs.
Electric windows
Tinted Windows
Central locking with / immobilisor
Heater core replaced
A/C is ice cold
Chrome cluster rings
Leather Seats in overall good condition. A little wear on drivers lower bolster as expected. A few slight marks but very clean for 20yr old leather

Blaukpunkt Hamburg CD player (one of the best they made)
factory speakers have been changed to JBL units
Bora mk4 gear shift gaitor and woodgrain knob

Gearbox - pretty good overall, responsive
Clutch replaced at 161km
Exterior is fairly clean however the rear bar could do with a re paint. Trying to track down a replacement to direct swap without much luck. The car is straight and true and overall the body work is in good condition for its age. Usual little stone chips and things like that.
the front and rear drivers side doors had clear peeling (as per when i purchased this car) and I have two replacement doors to fit (save a respray. I have fitted drivers, swapped out internals, etc however rear still needs to be done, will come with sale of car. If not fussy, leave it as is.
Clear indicators, tinted hella rear lights
Also have a number of spares to come with car such as spare window regs,original ignition leads, fog lights, etc...
The bad -
Roof lining starting to sag at the rear. Not very noticable but still there.
Passenger side front electric window not working - Will come with a spare reg and motor for you to swap out( havent had time to fit)
Door as mentioned above however do have a replacement tha will come with car.
Rear bar could use a tidy up
Overall, a good clean car for its age. No mechanical problems and very reliable. has averaged just over 10k per year so low kms for its age also.
Why am I selling? due to a growing family, I need to update my ride..simple.
