  • TAS Polo 77TSI 2011 - 30,700km, Sports and Comfort packs, Bilstein B14 + more - $17,900

The car is the current generation Polo in showroom condition with very low kilometres and is the same as what you would buy new today for $27,000. Its 3 year service is due in May. I will have the car serviced early upon receipt of a deposit so that the buyer does not need to have this service done. It is registered until July.

I am asking for $17,400 which is considerably less than its value including the upgrades.

It has BOTH of the option packs available from Volkswagen which are:

    Comfort pack
    - Rain sensing wipers
    - Low tyre pressure indicator
    - Automatic climate control air conditioning
    - Automatically dimming rear view mirror

    Sports pack
    - Tinted rear side and rear windows
    - 17 inch “Boavista” alloy wheels
    - Sports suspension (Upgraded further again with aftermarket components. See below)

It also has the following Volkswagen options:

    - 7 Speed DSG transmission
    - Metallic paint (Pepper Grey Metallic)
    - Carpet floor mats
    - Mud flaps

I felt that the factory handling and power in the upper RPM range still left a little to be desired and have purchased and fitted the following aftermarket upgrades 9 months/10,000km ago of $3500 total value:

    - Custom 2.25 inch down pipe (the front-most part of the exhaust). The factory down pipe was 1.75 inch. This increased power in the upper RPM range without making the car louder.

    - Bilstein B14 PSS height-adjustable suspension kit (Ultra high quality items. No sacrifice in comfort due to the sophisticated shock valving. Made in Germany)

    - H&R 10mm (front) and 12mm (rear) wheel spacers
    - Whiteline front caster increase bush kit
    - Superpro rear swaybar
    - Enabled the XDL (Extended differential lock) feature, usually only available in the Polo GTI

The handling with the sports pack was already really good but its cornering performance and stability/predictability is now up there with far, far more expensive cars. I am happy to adjust the ride height of the car to the buyer’s preference upon receipt of a deposit.

I will miss this car but unfortunately, I need to purchase something bigger that is suitable for towing a boat. Feel free to contact me with any enquiries. I’m happy to organise transportation of this car to anywhere in Australia or even personally drive to Victoria and fly back (cheaper than freight companies) at the buyer’s expense.

Bugger. I must've posted image URLs with a timeout. Once I figure out how to get permanent URLs for public Google drive content, I'll fix later tonight.

After changing the coding above, you can proceed to adjust the XDL strength like on a GTi.
